Yavatmal

The town of Yavatmal is located in Maharashtra. It is the administrative headquarters of Yavatmal district. Yavatmal was once a part of the Berur Sultanate and was famously coined as “The Safest Place in the World”. Yavatmal has a rich and interesting history that dates back to 1300 AD.

How to Get There
Air:
Yavatmal airport, which is being developed, is about 9 km away from the bus stand. The next nearest airport is Dr. Babasaheb Airport and it is 138 km away from Yavatmal.

Rail:
Yavatmal railway station is only about 1 km away from Yavatmal bus station. Through Wani junction, it is connected to Howrah, Nagpur, Mumbai, Rajur, and Chanaka. The nearest passenger railway station is in Dhamangaon and it is about 45 km away from the bus station. It is connected to Nagpur and Wardha.

Bus:
There are daily buses available to Pune, Mumbai, Wani, Nagpur, Ahmednagar, Latur, Sangole, Solapur, Bhusaval, Dhule and Osmanabad.
