Honnali

The town of Honnali is located in Karnataka. It belongs to the district of Devanagere and it lays the banks of Tungabhadra River. Honnali is one of the three major towns of Devangere district. The name Honnali is derived from the word ‘Honnu’ meaning gold in the local language. Honnali is close to the famous Tirtha Rameshwara Shiva Temple.
