Pilibanga



Pilibanga is a town situated in Rajasthan. The town is famously known as “Dhan Mandi”, which means bazaar. Pilibanga is a typical Rajasthan destination, being mostly hot and dry. The average literacy rate here is 58%.

Archeologically significant site of Kalibanga is close to Pilibanga. Although, excavations have been stopped for about three decades now, the site is still remarked by the local occupants as one with historical importance. Other towns such as Hanumangarh and Suratgarh are other places located close to Pilibanga.

One can take a flight to Jaipur, Udaipur or Jodhpur Airport and then take a cab or bus to reach this town.

Train
This Rajasthan city has its own railway station known as Pilibanga Railway Station.
