Ravapar

Ravapar is a small village located in the state of Gujarat. It is in the Kachchh region of the state and is located near the towns of Bhuj and Anjar. It is about 225 km far from the state capital Gandhinagar and about 160 km far from the town of Bhuj, which the closest main town. Ravapar is a vibrant trading hub for the surrounding villages.

There are many good and affordable hotels available in the nearby towns. Some hotels include Hotel Prince, Hotel Llark, Seven Sky and Ryan Residency which are in Bhuj and Maansi Hotel, Shree Manav Residency, Hotel Payal and Hotel Guddi in Anjar.

Language

Gujarati is the local language of Ravapar.

The famous Rann Utsav, hosted by the government of Gujarat, is very famous in the region. It is celebrated during the months of December and January. Ravapar celebrates other festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Shivratri, and Diwali,

Places to Visit

Kuba Maa temple and the Village Pond are famous places in Ravapar. While on Ravapar, one must not miss the beautiful temple of Mata no Madh, which is situated in Bhuj. You can reach Bhuj by buses operated by the state road transport corporation.

Air

The nearest airport is located in Rajkot.

Train

The nearest railhead is the Rajkot Junction, which is about 60 km far from Ravapur.

Ravapar and other cities and towns such as Ahmedabad Bhuj, Anjar, Gandhidham, Dwarka and Jati are well-connected. Operators  such as Ramani Travels, Patel Tours & Travels and HK Travels operate buses to Ravapar.
