Phulparas

Phulparas is a block of villages and one of the sub-divisions of the Madhubani district of Bihar. It is located at a distance of 48 km from the district headquarters, Madhubani and 200 km from the state capital, Patna.

Language
The official language of Phulparas is Hindi. Urdu and Maithili are other languages spoken in Phuparas.

Important festivals celebrated in Phulparas are Holi (February/March), Ramnavami (March/April), Durgapuja (September/October), Diwali (October/November), Ramzan and Bakrid.

Places of Interest
There are many places that are of tourist interest around Phulpuras. Some of them are Somnath Mahadev Temple, Saurath (53 km away) and Ugranath Temple, Bhawanipur (60 km away).

How to Get There
Air:
The nearest airport to Phulparas is the Janakpur Airport. It is about 70 km away.

Rail:
The nearest railhead Phulparas is the Ghoghardia railway station and it is about 12 km away. It is well-connected to Chikna, Tharbitia, Jhanjharpur and Darbhanga.   .

Bus:
There are daily bus services available to Patna, Ranigunj, Darbhanga and Siliguri. One of the best bus operators who offer good travel experience to passengers is Bihar Luxury.
