Undri

Undri is a sector that lies on the suburbs of the eighth largest metropolis of India, Pune. Lately, Undri has started to become unofficially a larger part of Pune. It is well connected through various expressways and is one of the best residential areas in Pune. Undri’s greenery and pollution-free environment, which is hard to retain in any metropolis in India, makes it even more significant.

The official language of Undri is Marathi.

The important festivals celebrated in Undri are Ganesh Chathurthi, Ramzan, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Maharashtra Day (1st May) and Diwali.

Places of Interest
There are several places of tourist interest in and around Undri. Some of them are Shaniwar Wada (12 km away from Undri bus stop), Dagaduseth Ganapathi Temple (11 km away), Raja Dinker Kelkar Museum (11 km away) and Parvati Hill (10 km away).

How to Get There
Air:
Pune International Airport is the nearest airport to Undri is Dhanbad Airport. It is 18 km away from Undri Gaon bus stop.

Rail:
Undri junction is connected with Pune central railway station and other junctions in the city. The junction is within walking distance from Undri Gaon.

Bus:
There are daily buses available to Undri, from Pune and Mumbai. Some of the best operators who offer good experience to passengers are Shree Gajanan Travels, Holiday Travels and Sheetal Travels Night-Queen.
