Megnanapuram

Megnanapuram is a village in the Thootukudi district, Tamil Nadu. It was formerly known as Neduvilai, which was changed by Rev C.T.E Rhenius in 1830. St. Paul Church, one of the stateliest churches in India makes this place significant.

St. Paul’s Church is an attraction that is revered by religious visitors. The church features a steeple that is 192 feet high that will sure be an interest to people who love colonial architecture. The famous Port of Tuticorin (40 km away) is another must-visit attraction around Megnanapuram.

The closest Airport is in the district headquarters, Tuticorin, which is 40 km away from Megnanapuram.

The nearest railhead is the Nazareth Railway Station, which is 12 km away from Megnanapuram. It is well connected to Tuticorin and Tirunelveli.
