Ramgarh

Ramgarh is a town located in the state of Rajasthan and was known as one of the richest Indian towns back in the 19th century. Ramgarh is a striking destination with distinct houses constructed using gravel. This town is also famous for its beautiful paintings.

Places to Stay
Hotel Ramgarh Fresco, Ramgarh Lodge and The Getaway Ramgarh Lodge are some places visitors can stay in at a reasonable rate.  The hotels are about 5 km away from the bus station. Approximately hotel tariff ranges from Rs. 1500 to 4000.

Events/Festivals
Teej and Holi are impressively celebrated in this beautiful Rajasthan town just like any other part of the culturally rich state. Around 240 km away lies the city of Pushkar where the very famous Pushkar Fair happens every year during the months of October and November.
           
Language
The most common language spoken here is Hindi which is also the national language of the country.

Places to Visit
While in Ramgarh, you can visit the Ram Gopal Poddar Chhatri which houses beautiful murals. All around the region, there are various ‘havelis’ that are eye-catching, one of the finest one being ‘SUROLIA'S Haveli’. One can count the Ganga Temple among famous temples in this region. The best way to get around Ramgarh is using cabs.

Ramgarh Shekhawati(code: RSWT) is its Railway station.

Bus

Some of its popular bus stations are Ramgarh Mode Bus Stop and Jamwa Ramgarh bus station. Rajasthan Road Transport Corporation runs frequent bus services in this region.
