Bhokardan

Bhokardan is a town situated in Jalna district, Maharashtra. It is located on the banks of Khelna River. Bhokardan has a rich history that dates back to the 600 AD. According the local folklore, Bhokardan used to be the capital of the lands ruled by Bhomasura, a mythological demon who was killed by Lord Krishna.

How to Get There
Air:
The nearest airport to Bhokardan is the Aurangabad Airport on Jalna road, Aurangabad. It is about 58 km away.

Rail:
The nearest railway station to Bhokardhan is in Jalna, which is 48 km away. Jalna station is well-connected with Manmad, Aurangabad, Nanded, Parbhani, Latur, Osmanabad, Gangakhed, Adilabad, Nagpur, Nizamabad, Nasik, Mumbai, Pune, karnool, Kadapa, Tirupati, Renikunda, Erode and Madurai. 

Bus:
There are daily buses available from Bhokardan Old Bus Stand to Aurangabad, Nagpur and Jalna. One of the best operators who offer good experience to passengers is Lucky Nigam.
